Date: 01/07/06 Message: The thingy with the two rubber cushions, is missing the wood beam arm that held the other die part. this is an arm hammer for forming hot steel , like a trip hammer. it is thoght it might have been used for ending an edge or seaming a sheet as the arms do not seem to transfer alot of force, only light blows. I remember when it was put on a belt and the machine turned over and the rotten oak beam quickly splintered.
